Soo, I completed one project...at least for now, I think I will go back later and add to it, but we'll just call it good for now. It's a rag rug made out of an old sheet. I had this california king size red fitted sheet on my bed, and it ended up with a MASSIVE hole in it from my dogs...go figure. I didn't wanna throw it out, what good is it then? So I decided that I would turn the sheet into "yarn" and crochet a rug.
First I cut all of the elastic off the edge and then ripped the corner seams so I had one oddly shaped rectangle. Then I made little cuts every inch and tore the sheet into big ole strips. I joined the strips together and ended up with a giant ball, that looks like this....
I grabbed a size N (9mm) crochet hook and got to work. And a few hours later I have this handy dandy little rug. Eventually I'll be adding a border to it...probably in cream if I can find a cheap cream sheet at the Goodwill or something.
Thanks for checkin in, hope you enjoyed it!!
